This is one of my favorites of yours, for the detail and scene and shading and colors. I very much like the composition of the piece--the blade of the scythe swirls your vision upward from the bottom of the piece and carries through into the curve of the moon, bringing you right back down to her flowing clothing, which returns you to her foot, so the entire piece is circular. The eye travels everywhere and the method you use to make it do so reminds me of the old masters.
